Meet Alan. He founded Round Edge with an unwavering belief in the power of curiosity.

He also once plunged a pair of metal scissors into an electric socket to see what would happen.

He also once plunged a pair of metal scissors into an electric socket to see what would happen.

In his defense, he was three years old at the time. Undeterred by the outlet covers, Alan used a pair of metal safety scissors to pry the pesky impediments off. And then, he stuck the scissors into the socket.

Fortunate to only have been holding the scissors with one hand, the circuit wasn't completed and Alan got by with a shock, burnt pajamas, and a chagrined mother.

While not his smartest move, the story is a testament to Alan's innate curiosity. It was also an early validation of curiosity's power to transform something 'safe', like a pair of kids scissors, into something quite potent.

Over two decades of brand marketing have further convinced us that curiosity and naïveté are two of the world's most powerful enablers of creative thinking. Today, Alan and his team endeavor to apply those same characteristics to the myriad marketing challenges facing their clients.
